These are security product manufacturers that have successfully completed the UL standards testing requirements of their products and who have agreed to be AVTPS members in good standing of the association.

Requirements:

o   To provide all requested documentation to AVTPS of their security products/solutions that have been vetted to meet the S338 Standards by an ATVPS accepted testing/technical house.

o   To complete and submit all requested documentation regarding on-vehicle testing. To work with AVTPS for any additional on-vehicle testing, if more is deemed necessary.

o   To ensure all security products accepted and listed by AVTPS have been fitted at an AVTPS membership in good standing, Installation, Fitment location/ technician.

o   To ensure that any AVTPS-listed products that have been fitted into a vehicle are entered into the AVTPS central registry database.

o   To only use technicians who have successfully completed the aftermarket manufacturers’ product training/qualification program for all AVTPS-registered installations.

o   To provide documented best practices for installations and business operations that have been AVTPS accepted.

o   To provide immediate notification in writing to AVTPS of any changes in the relationship with one of your AVTPS accepted Fitment Centres or Technicians.

o   To maintain a healthy and respectful relationship with the AVTPS membership.
