Installation Technicians

A technician must possess strong technical knowledge, exceptional problem-solving skills, and be committed to continuous learning. Technicians must demonstrate a professional and positive attitude, consistently providing safe and effective workmanship, as well as a high level of attention to detail.

They must be adaptable, reliable, and demonstrate enthusiasm for their work. It is their excellence that is vital for a quality solution and a successful program.

A technician with ATVPS membership requires that they agree to maintain compliance with all ATVPS’s written requirements.

Requirements:

o   Will provide AVTPS with proof of a successful product manufacturer training completion for the products they use or service.

o   Must be a technician who has a clear criminal record from theft, fraud, or any gang activity, which must be renewed every two years or upon request.

o   Must inform AVTPS in writing of any change to their criminal record relating to theft, fraud, or gang activity.

o   Who hold a valid vehicle technician’s license/s, and any required further education in writing.

o   Who commits to demonstrating workmanship and professional attitudes that meet the manufacturer’s and AVTPS’s best practices.

o   Who agrees to complete all modifications to the aftermarket manufacturer’s written instructions.

o   Agrees to register any work (installation, non-battery maintenance, or repairs) completed on an AVTPS-accepted product to the AVTPS registration data portal.

o   Who has agreed to be a member in good standing with AVTPS.

o   To maintain a healthy and respectful relationship with the AVTPS membership.
